Protecting a Natural Treasure and Outstanding
Recreational Area in Central Maine

Your Input Needed for the Future of the Kennebec Highlands

The state has drafted a 15-year management plan for the Kennebec Highlands that would give ATVs access to the property as soon as this fall. BRCA is concerned that the current proposal will result in user conflicts, environmental damage, and pose major management difficulties.

There is an urgent need for people interested in the future of the Kennebec Highlands to make their feelings known to the Department of Conservation. Click here to learn more about the plan and to find out how you can help.
